It is often necessary to adapt in certain ways to survive in a modern world, but adapting with pride in one’s cultural heritage intact can make the transition less painful and at the same time enrich the outside world.
Niger, one of the poorest countries in the world is the focus of our projects. The Nomad Foundation works with people in nomadic communities in Niger to decide how we can work together to help them survive and thrive.
We came up with a formula of essentials that we need to address at every community we adopt.
